Halloween 2026 wholesale toy trends

Halloween is a hand-out holiday before it is a costume one. The cases that move in September are the ones that go into a bowl, a goody bag or a classroom treat box: glow rings, mini squishies, sticker packs, small plush pumpkins and ghosts. They sell by the case because the customer is buying for twenty children, not one.

A counter needs fewer SKUs than it thinks and more depth in each. One case of each of five or six hand-out items outsells a single unit of thirty different novelties, because the buyer wants a bag full of the same thing. Put the hand-out items at the front and the costume accessories behind them.
